A residency for creatives and researchers

Outer Echoes [OE] provides time and space in the beautiful big sky state for creatives to work on projects, or simply take time to reflect.

Restoration

Our ten acres is being restored using regenerative agricultural practices.

With our rich heritage in regenerative agriculture, we are sowing the seeds of positive change. In 2023, we embarked on an exciting journey by planting the beginnings of a food forest, a living testament to our commitment to ecological restoration, traditional knowledge and self-sufficiency.

Outer Echoes is a place where artistry and agriculture coalesce, where guests, artists, and community members can experience the transformative power of a deep connection to the earth.

Community, Sustainability, & Reciprocity

OE is committed to sustainability, both in our ecological practices and in the nurturing of personal connections.

We are building a lending library as a source of knowledge and inspiration, and a dedicated space for reflection, creativity, and community gatherings. Here, individuals can do research, create art, or simply find solace.

We believe the experience of art and life are profoundly interconnected. Our community gathering spaces offer an opportunity for building lasting, quality relationships.

Remote livingnear the Missouri

OE accesses 190 acres near the Missouri river between Great Falls and Helena.

Soon we will partner with skilled fly fishing instructors who will guide guests in discovering the art and tradition of fly fishing, promoting a deeper connection to nature.

We also offer coursework in wilderness survival to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills to thrive in the great outdoors.

PROGRESS: OE gains non-profit fiscal sponsorship
